NATURE's CHAMPION
​​HE TOKI A TĀNE

He Toki a Tāne is a partnership program with Daltons to encourage environmental stewardship in the Picton area. 

​Residents & businesses of Picton can nominate themselves or others as He toki a Tāne (Nature’s Champion). 

An ideal candidate will be doing the work to help make Picton predator free providing a safe, healthy and thriving environment for the native bird species.  Whether that be through urban garden trapping or planting native species and food sources for the native bird populations.
​

Nominees must reside within Picton Dawn Chorus project area which includes Picton, Waikawa, and surrounding hills, from Ngakuta Bay to Whatamango Bay.
